  1. I like how you experiment with different colors and textures. It adds a depth to your work and is visually interesting. You might want to try using a different medium for your hair such as charcoal or pastels. Your work is thoughtful and intriguing and I am excited to see the final project.

  2. Hart, I think this is a really cool piece. I really like the colors and I think how you fade out your face is really risky but it really works. I really like this piece because it is really expressive and I think it is different than a lot of other peoples style so it is really unique. I also really like the blue lines and how they are uneven and lead onto your face.

  3. I am really fascinated/inspired by your portrait here! I think it's really expressive and i like how you used so many different mediums and colors. I'm curious on what else you are going to do with this? I think it looks really good and i like how the top part of your head fades off . Also, if there is, what is the story or meaning behind this portrait?

  5. I'm really intrigued by your work, the vibrant colors and the separation images make me want to see more of your work. You could try and add more shading to your face to emphasize some emotions you might have

  6. I really like all the different textures created with different mediums in your pieces. It gives a very vibrant feel and it is really cool. Maybe try adding in some solid blocks or a pattern to create a focus to the painting.

  7. Hart! I really love your mixed media work. The different textures and mediums and colors you use really give the painting an edge. Your work is very detailed but at the same time expressive and it is really eye popping. I like how you can give your mixed media paintings a rough texture. I especially really enjoy the second mixed media painting because of the contrasting colors next to eachother which creates emphasis. It also seems like you used a bunch of different techniques. What are you trying to say with these paintings? Is there an overall message?
