Abstract watercolor portrait

I really liked this video because it touched upon something that I've wanted to try out for a while now. When I draw I draw very concretely and shy away from the more abstract, for a while now i've wanted to do a portrait where part of the face is extend and where there isn't a clear cut outline. Also I've been meaning to play with more cool colors since I also tend to shy away from using anything too dark.

I really enjoy performance poetry, and in this video the poetry is phenomenal, powerful. And a huge group of people got together to animate it, because they wanted to spread this message. It's beautiful.

Arya Game of Thrones Portrait.

I really liked this video because it starts off with using black paper which is something i've been meaning to experiment with. Also it has very dramatic lighting which is what I've been looking to play with within the portrait that I will be making. Lastly the layering technique is something i've never tired but it looks like it would be interesting/ fun to so I want to see if I can do that. Mostly I just love the dramatic shadows within the portrait as well as the slight shadows along the jaw( something I have to work on) .
