Zoe, Great fresh start. You are doing a great job with a variety of expressive mark making with the foreground in contrast with the background. As you work your way up to the structure, use a small paint brush and mix a range of light tones with dark tones to give the structure immediate 3d form.
This looks so good! I love the detail in the bridge and the reflections in the water. If i had to offer any advice, I might say that the colors in the real trees have less red in them then their reflections. Maybe you could add just a redish tint to the leaves of the trees. but thats very minor, I think this is so good!
Your scenery painting is awesome. It looks so realistic and I love how detailed the reflection of the trees in the water is. There is also something very distinct about the water that makes it look so good.
