Take a thin pointed paint brush and mix a dark brown tone to draw in the painting. This will establish more structure as you work on the contrasting tonal forms.
I really like the colors in your painting, they match with the color scheme of the photo, however, you could add more detail to make the painting look more 3D and get the overall composition of the rocks
