Gesture drawing to improvised music

Some examples of drawings I made while listening to/watching an amazing improvisational jazz band called Adventure in Sound can be found on this webpage:

A few examples of the band's music can be found here (this is video footage that I shot):  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReOWYg2-1Fc&list=PLom8A4wmKETo_64msoHEjfEehjs0ZOvS-
As I mentioned, this band performs improvisations; nothing is planned out beforehand.  They are constantly listening and reacting to what each other is doing.  One of their main goals is to "paint" with sound, using as broad a sonic palette as possible.  Their spontaneously created music pieces tend to go to many different places: soft sensitive/loud intense, slow moody/fast kinetic, serene harmonious/bombastic and dissonant, etc.  The group draws from a very large sonic palette and toolset that they have acquired over the years as students, teachers and performers of music.
