Melanie's art process page

  1. Great use of palette knife technique. The texture of the rocks and trees are working well. Keep in mind that as the trees get further away they should be smaller and more out of focus. Consider a more hazy grey palette from a distance.

  2. I am excited to see how you will approach your altered book. Keep in mind using techniques from both the paper sculpture project as well as the monster blob. Think about using coffee or tea as part of the creative process for your altered books. It creates an interesting natural stain.

  3. From the beginning you went right away and took many risks. You used a good technique which really added to the piece as a whole. The tresses look good with the different colors of green. The colors are very well combined and make it a great piece
